Ahmed Shareef

Ahmed Shareef is currently a Diplomacy Lab Researcher focusing on European and Eurasian Affairs at the U.S. Department of State, while also serving as the Chair of Internal Operations and other roles at Michigan Political Consulting. Ahmed has contributed significantly to community initiatives, notably raising over $6,000 to construct water wells in South Asia as the Chair of Finance for the Pashtun Cultural Association. Previous experience includes roles such as an OpsWatch Intern at Cornerstone Government Affairs, a student lawyer in Washtenaw County’s Public Defender Arraignment Division, a research fellow at Southwest Detroit Community Justice Center, and a research assistant at the University of Michigan. Ahmed's academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government, with a minor in Quantitative Methods in the Social Sciences, expected to graduate in April 2026.
