Heather Lucke has a diverse work experience history. In 2011, they worked as an intern at Masterpiece Photography. In 2012, they served as a sales associate at Sally Beauty. From 2013 to 2014, they held two positions at Purchase College, first as an office assistant and then as an academic support mentor. In 2015, they worked as an accounting clerk at First Choice Evaluations. From 2016 to 2017, they served as a graduate research assistant at Western Illinois University. In 2017, they worked as a writing center consultant at the same university. Starting in 2018, Heather began working at the University of North Texas, first as a graduate assistant where they took on various roles including research assistant, teaching fellow, and teaching assistant. Here, they conducted independent research projects, prepared and taught lectures, and collaborated on research projects. Heather also served as a data analyst intern, working on various stages of research projects. Since 2019, they have been a delivery expert at Domino's. Most recently, in 2022, they joined Michigan Spine and Brain Surgeons as a data analyst and clinical research manager.

Heather Lucke completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology from Purchase College, SUNY, from 2011 to 2014. Heather then pursued their Master of Science (MS) in Experimental Psychology from Western Illinois University, from 2016 to 2018. Currently, Heather is working towards their Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Behavioral Science at the University of North Texas, a program they started in 2018 and is expected to complete in 2024.

In addition to their academic achievements, Heather Lucke has obtained certifications. Heather received the Social and Behavioral Research - Basic/Refresher certification from the CITI Program in October 2021. Heather also obtained the GCP for Clinical Trials with Investigational Drugs and Biologics (ICH Focus) certification from the same institution in June 2021.
