Chelsea Schaberg

Chelsea Schaberg, SPHR has a varied and extensive work experience in the field of Human Resources. Chelsea began their career as a Human Resources Intern at Sparrow Health System in 2011. Since then, they have held multiple roles at MSU Federal Credit Union, starting as a Human Resources Generalist from May 2012 to June 2015. Chelsea then progressed to become a Human Resources Manager from June 2015 to August 2020. After that, they were promoted to Assistant Vice President Human Resources and most recently to Vice President Human Resources in August 2021, where they currently hold this position.

Chelsea Schaberg, SPHR holds a Master's degree in Human Resources and Labor Relations from Michigan State University. Chelsea obtained their Master's degree between 2013 and 2015. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts in Human Resources and Social Science from Michigan State University between 2008 and 2012. In addition to their degrees, Chelsea Schaberg holds additional certifications including the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) obtained from the Human Capital Institute (HCI) in January 2017, as well as the Senior Professional in Human Resources® (SPHR®) Certification obtained from the HR Certification Institute (HRCI) in January 2017.
