Dong Zhao

Dong Zhao is an experienced academic and professional in the field of construction management and building design. Currently serving as the PhD Program Director for Planning, Design & Construction and Associate Professor at Michigan State University since 2015, Dong Zhao has held various leadership roles including Graduate Program Director and Interim Program Director for Construction Management. Prior to this, Dong Zhao gained practical experience as a VDC/BIM Resident at Barton Malow and worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow and Teaching/Research Assistant at Virginia Tech from 2008 to 2015. Additionally, a Research Associate position was held at Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2007-2008. Dong Zhao earned a PhD and MS in Building Construction from Virginia Tech and a BS and MS in Construction Engineering and Management from Chongqing University.
