Jeff MacKeigan

Jeff MacKeigan serves as a Senior Advisor for the Henry Ford + MSU Cancer Center and a Senior Fellow for Research Infrastructure in the Office of Research and Innovation at Michigan State University since August 2017. As a tenured Professor at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine, MacKeigan also holds the position of Assistant Dean for Research. Prior experience includes an Associate Professorship at Van Andel Institute and a Scientist role at Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research. MacKeigan completed postdoctoral fellowships at Harvard Medical School and was recognized as a Harvard Medical School Cell Biology Fellow and American Cancer Society Fellow. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Cancer Cell Biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a B.A. in Molecular, Cellular, Developmental Biology from the University of Colorado Boulder.
