Ken Szymusiak is an experienced professional in entrepreneurship and economic development with a diverse background. Currently serving as the Managing Director of Academic Programs at the Burgess Institute for Entrepreneurship & Innovation at Michigan State University since November 2013, Ken also co-founded Cold Storage Holdings LLC in October 2019. Previously, Ken co-owned Polka Dots Boutique from April 2007 to October 2014, specializing in custom beaded jewelry and accessories. Ken has held significant roles within economic development organizations, including Co-Director of the New Economy Division at Lansing Economic Area Partnership (LEAP) from January 2012 to November 2013 and Director of Business Investment & Incubation at the Lansing Economic Development Corporation from 2006 to 2011. Ken's educational background includes an MBA in Business Management from Northwood University - DeVos Graduate School and a B.S. in Urban Planning from Michigan State University.
