Michael Sant'Ambrogio

Michael Sant'Ambrogio currently serves as the Dean of the College of Law and Red Cedar Distinguished Professor of Law at Michigan State University, a position held since July 2011. Prior to this role, Michael was associated with New York University School of Law, where titles included Associate Director of the Lawyering Program and Acting Assistant Professor from July 2008 to June 2011. Previous experience includes working as a Staff Attorney in the Special Litigation Unit at the New York Legal Assistance Group and as an Associate at Patterson Belknap Webb & Tyler LLP. Additionally, Michael served as a Judicial Law Clerk for Associate Justice Steven H. Levinson at the Supreme Court of Hawaii. Michael holds a Doctor of Law degree from New York University School of Law, a Master of Arts in American History from New York University, and a Bachelor's degree in History from Columbia University.
