Christopher Harrington

Christopher Harrington, Ed.D., serves as the Senior Director of Innovative School Design at Michigan Virtual since April 2019 and is also the Chief Executive Officer of Harrington Education Associates, a position held since 2012. With extensive experience in education, Harrington has contributed as an external reviewer of virtual school applications for the Colorado Department of Education and founded the Institute for Teaching and Leading, which focuses on enhancing educational systems through innovative practices. Additional roles include serving as a professor at Immaculata University, president of the eLearn Institute, and director of virtual education services at Bridges Virtual Education Services. Harrington's educational background includes a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration from Immaculata University and a Master’s in Instructional Technology from Kutztown University.
