Giuseppe Buscemi

Giuseppe Buscemi has extensive experience in the field of optoelectronics and technology. Giuseppe is currently serving as the Director of LED Technology at MICLEDI microdisplays. Prior to this, they held the position of Chief Technology Officer at PRP Optoelectronics from 2018 to 2021. Before that, they were also the Chief Technology Officer at NORTHERN LIGHTS ELECTRONICS LTD from 2015 to 2018. Their earlier work includes a role as a Marie Curie - Post graduated researcher PGR at the University of Southampton, where they focused on various aspects of semiconductor physics, photonics, and optoelectronics.

Giuseppe Buscemi completed their education with a M.Sc and B.Sc in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Università degli Studi di Palermo, where they studied from 2002 to 2011. Giuseppe then pursued further studies in Physics at the University of Southampton from 2011 to 2015. Prior to that, in 2010 to 2011, Giuseppe attended Ulm University, where they focused on Optoelectronics.
