Maged Edward S. Gadallah

Maged Edward S. Gadallah is a Principal Engineer at Microchip Technology Inc. since December 2022, focusing on designing customized EDA flows to improve design rule checks analysis and supporting physical verification through advanced software automation. Maged previously served as a Mask Data Preparation Engineer at EM Microelectronic from February 2019 to November 2022, leading the Multi-Project Wafer project and developing automation for GDS-to-Mask data preparation. Prior to that, Maged worked as a Consultant/Project Owner at Samsung Electronics from November 2015 to January 2019, providing Calibre physical verification support to the PDK team and DRC QA verification for advanced SoC technologies. Maged also held the position of IC Design Consultant at Mentor Graphics from January 2013 to January 2019, where expertise was developed in EDA tools and methodologies for resolution enhancement techniques, optical proximity correction, and physical verification, delivering consultancy to fabrication and fabless customers. Maged holds a degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering with a focus on Integrated Circuit Design from Ain Shams University (2007-2012).
