Mike Ballard

Mike Ballard is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in marketing and sales within the technology sector. Currently serving as the Market Segments Team Leader at Microchip Technology Inc. since July 2007, Mike directs a team to enhance revenue growth in key markets and formulate corporate-wide strategic marketing initiatives in areas such as IoT/Edge Computing, 5G, ADAS, Electric Vehicles, AI/ML, and Data Centers. Previous roles at Microchip included Global Home Automation and Security Leader and Senior Manager for multiple groups focused on home appliances and IoT. Additionally, Mike has served on the Board of Directors for the Association of Home Appliance Manufacturers and held roles in sales management and engineering at various technology companies, including 3M and Infineon Technologies. A graduate of Ohio University with a BSEE in Engineering and Finance, Mike has consistently leveraged their diverse skill set to drive growth and innovation in the industry.
