Ana Pereira has worked in various roles ranging from project manager to researcher in different fields such as R&D, digital therapeutics, drug development, and neuroscience. Ana'smost recent position was as an R&D Project Manager at MicroHarvest. Before that, they were a Project Manager in Digital Therapeutics at Champalimaud Foundation. Ana also worked as a Project Manager in Drug Development at Sea4Us and as a Project Manager and Research Scientist at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard. Prior to their project management roles, they held various research positions, including a Postdoctoral Researcher at Harvard University, a PhD Student in Behavioural Neuroscience at Champalimaud Foundation, and an Internship Trainee at RIKEN. Ana also conducted research as a Master Thesis Student and as an Undergraduate Student Intern in different fields of study.
Ana Pereira holds a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD from the Champalimaud Neuroscience Programme, which they obtained from 2008 to 2015. Prior to that, they earned a Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Lisbon, which they received from 2002 to 2008. In February 2021, Pereira earned an edX Verified Certificate for Bioethics: The Law, Medicine, and Ethics of Reproductive Technologies and Genetics from edX.
