Darius Engineer

Darius Engineer has a strong background in the IT infrastructure and services industry, with a focus on business development and relationship management. Darius began their career at Tech Mahindra (formerly Mahindra Satyam) as a Relationship Manager in the Retail & Consumer Goods sector. During their time there, they successfully structured and pursued deals in various areas such as Application Development, ERP, Engineering Services, Business Intelligence, and BPO services.

After 10 years at Tech Mahindra, Darius moved to HCL Technologies, where they took on the role of Global Account Manager in the Infrastructure Services Division. In this position, they managed and expanded strategic relationships, winning large deals in areas such as Datacenter consolidation, managed services, end user asset refresh, field services, service desk, global voice, and network refresh.

Currently, Darius is with Microland Limited, where they initially served as a Senior Director in Infrastructure Services, focusing on technology transformation, operational transformation, and remote infrastructure management services. Darius then advanced to the position of Associate Vice President, overseeing business development in the Cloud, IT infrastructure, and IT Security services space. In this role, Darius is responsible for leading sales, presales, account management, transition, and delivery teams while also handling tasks such as developing win playbooks, stakeholder mapping, proposal defense, negotiation, and pricing strategies.

Darius Engineer attended St. Xavier's College (Autonomous), Kolkata from 1982 to 1997, where they studied Finance. Later, from 1998 to 2000, they pursued their MS degree in IT at ITM Group of Institutions. In 2002, they briefly attended the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in various fields, including Generative AI for Business Leaders and Introduction to Generative AI. Darius is also a Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals.
