Quinton Niemand

Quinton Niemand is an experienced mining engineer with a robust background in the industry, currently serving as Principal Mining Engineer at Micromine since October 2021, following a role as Senior Mining Engineer. Prior experiences include positions at Precision Mining, where Quinton worked as a Mining Engineer, and as a Drill and Blast Engineer at Whitehaven Coal's Maules Creek Coal Mine. Earlier roles include Jumbo Offsider at Downer, Landscaper at Buffalo Landscaping, and a Vacation Student at Anglo American in South Africa. Quinton's foundation in the field was built through a Bachelor's Degree (Honours) in Mining and Geotechnical Engineering from The University of Queensland, complemented by coursework in Engineering and Business Management at QUT.
