Gonzalo Contento has over 20 years of work experience in software engineering. Gonzalo started their career in 1998 as a Software Developer at My Documents, where they worked with C++/ATL/STL/MFC. Gonzalo then moved to Eze Castle Software in 2001 as a Senior Software Engineer, developing Windows Applications and Services using Delphi, C++, SQL and Tibco Rendezvous. In 2004, they became a Senior Financial Software Engineer at MFS Investment Management, where they designed and configured the overall architect of the Order Management System. In 2007, they were a Senior Project Manager at nGeneYes, where they headed a potential team of ten developers for successful development and implementation of projects using .NET, Velocity, Objectivity, and MS SQL 2008. In 2008, they co-founded Integridea and acted as a Consultant for various firms as an individual contributor and Project Manager. In 2010, they were the Director of Software Engineering at Ledgex Systems, where they successfully designed and architected solutions for both Intranet and Cloud Applications. In 2015, they were a Contractor - Principal Software Engineer at Sensitech (United Technologies), where they acted as a .NET Architect, Project Leader, and SCRUM Master for the implementation of real-time data acquisition and analysis. In 2017, they became a Principal Software Engineer at Ericsson. Finally, in 2019, they joined Micronotes.ai as Chief Engineer, Vice President of Engineering, and Principal Software Engineer/Architect. At Micronotes, they worked on an AI-driven survey platform for secure banking applications.

Gonzalo Contento obtained their Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering and Software Development from Universidad de Antioquia between 1988 and 1995.
