Morgan Ewing

Morgan Ewing has extensive experience in mechanical testing and research within the medical device industry. Currently serving as the Mechanical Testing Lab Coordinator and Senior Research Associate at MicroPort Orthopedics since August 2014, Morgan previously held the position of Outside Plant Technician at AT&T from May 2013 to June 2014, where responsibilities included installation and maintenance of telecommunications systems. Prior experience includes a tenure at Smith & Nephew from April 2002 to February 2013 as a Research Associate, focusing on biomechanical testing protocols and documentation for regulatory and scientific purposes. Earlier in the career, Morgan was a Journeyman Plumber for the Memphis Plumbers Joint Apprenticeship Committee from May 1993 to March 2002, completing a five-year apprenticeship with outstanding grades. Educational pursuits include studies in Engineering Technology at Southern Illinois University and Mechanical Engineering at Southwest Tennessee Community College.
