Sr. Manager, Quality And Sterility Assurance at MicroPort Orthopedics

Richard Cantrell has a diverse work experience in the field of quality and sterility assurance. Richard started their career as a microbiologist at Northview Laboratories in 1999, where they worked until 2000. In 2002, they joined Bausch + Lomb as a Sterility Assurance Technician. Richard was responsible for sterility assurance and cleanroom testing in a manufacturing setting, including participating in sterilization validations.

In 2004, Cantrell joined Wright Medical Technology, initially as a Sterility Assurance Engineer and later as a Senior Sterility Assurance Engineer and Supervisor, Sterility Assurance. From 2011 to 2014, they served as the Manager of Sterility Assurance at Wright Medical Technology.

Since 2014, Cantrell has been working at MicroPort Orthopedics Inc. Richard started as a Manager of Sterility Assurance and later became the Senior Manager of Quality and Sterility Assurance. Their current role and end date have not been specified.

Richard Cantrell completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Microbiology, General at the University of West Florida, attending from 1991 to 1997. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Master of Public Health (M.P.H.) degree in Public Health Practice at the University of South Florida, where they studied from 2003 to 2009.
