Shawn Gabriel

Shawn Gabriel has a diverse range of work experience in the medical sales industry. Shawn began their career at Cordis, where they served as a Division Sales Manager for the Cardiology and Vascular division from 1994 to 2006. During this time, they successfully recruited and developed a team of salespeople who consistently achieved sales goals and delivered high contribution margins.

Following their time at Cordis, Gabriel joined Smith & Nephew Orthopaedics as a Regional Vice President from 2006 to 2009. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing a $158M orthopedic reconstruction and trauma region. Gabriel then joined ConvaTec as an Area Business Director from 2016 to 2019. In this role, they led a team selling advanced wound care products to various healthcare professionals. Shawn successfully hired and developed new sales managers, resulting in double-digit sales growth.

Prior to their current role, Gabriel worked at Hillrom as an Area Vice President from 2019 to 2021 (acquired by Baxter). Shawn was responsible for managing a team of sales professionals and promoting a tele retinal imaging system. Shawn played an integral role in securing partnerships with large healthcare organizations.

Most recently, Gabriel is working as the Vice President of Sales, North America at MicroPort Orthopedics starting in 2022.
