Todd Rooks

Todd Rooks has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Todd currently serves as the Director of IT at MicroPort Orthopedics, a global orthopedic company that provides surgical solutions for the foot and ankle market. Prior to this, from 2018 to 2022, they worked as the Manager, ERP (SAP, Kronos/UKG) at Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare, where they managed ERP operations for a healthcare organization of approximately 14,000 associates.

Before that, from 2015 to 2018, Rooks was the Director, Project Management Office at Diebold Nixdorf, where they delivered strategic initiatives and launched Agile projects at Fortune 500 financial institutions. Todd also rolled out internal PS automation in North America.

In these positions, they managed enterprise software configuration, supported banks in the US and Canada, and implemented regional strategies for ATM software and services.

Prior to their career in the private sector, Rooks served in the US Army as a Cryptologic Linguist/Sergeant, where they translated Chinese and led a team of linguists in intelligence gathering methodologies.

Todd'searliest work experience was as a Software Developer at HWA International, Inc., where they designed and coded software applications for trust account management in banks and credit unions.

Overall, Todd Rooks has a strong background in IT and project management, with experience in healthcare, orthopedics, financial services, and the military.

Todd Rooks obtained their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance from The University of Memphis between 1984 and 1988. In 1991 and 1992, they attended the Defense Language Institute, where they earned a Mandarin Chinese Certification. Additionally, Todd received a CSM certification from the Scrum Alliance in March 2018.
