Vickie Malone

Vickie Malone has extensive work experience in strategic sourcing, purchasing, and procurement. Vickie is currently employed as a Sr. Strategic Sourcing Specialist at MicroPort Orthopedics since January 2022. Prior to that, from June 2018 to January 2022, they worked as a Purchasing Agent at Onyx Medical LLC, an Elos Medtech Company.

Vickie also has a long history with Smith & Nephew, where they held various roles over the years. From April 1999 to June 2018, they served as a Commodity Buyer for Indirect Materials in Global Business Services and Procurement. In this role, they oversaw a $6.5 million budget and achieved over $2 million in year-over-year cost savings. Vickie'sresponsibilities included project planning, coordination, scheduling, and monitoring in Business Support Services. Vickie also maintained and monitored procurement card expenses and produced reporting for the Purchasing and Accounts Payable departments. Vickie was responsible for monthly billing and charge back operations totaling $70,000 to $100,000 per month.

Before joining Smith & Nephew, Vickie worked as a Documentation Clerk, Shop Data Clerk, Housekeeping Clerk, and Drape Assembler, showcasing their diverse experience and adaptability.

Vickie Malone's education history begins in 1975 when they attended Hillrest High School and completed their high school education. Vickie then pursued higher education at the University of Phoenix from 2011 to 2013, where they earned an Associate's Degree in Arts with a concentration in Foundations of Business. Continuing their education at the same university, Vickie completed a Bachelor's Degree in Business with a concentration in Marketing from 2014 to 2016.
