Val Jelinic

Val Jelinic currently serves as a Senior IoT Enablement Jedi at Microshare.io, specializing in turnkey Sensing-as-a-Service solutions for smarter building management. Jelinic has been actively involved with the LoRa Alliance as a LoRaWAN Ambassador since 2016, focusing on the promotion and standardization of Low Powered WAN technology to enhance IoT implementation. As a mentor for small businesses and start-ups since 2018 at cooi consulting, Jelinic helps translate entrepreneurial visions into sustainable business practices. Previous roles include Head of Ecosystem and IoT Solutions at Brunata AG, Program Manager at Semtech, and Regional Business Development Manager at ABB Switzerland. Jelinic holds an Executive Master of Business Administration from the University of Edinburgh Business School and has additional educational qualifications in economics and secure telecommunications.
