Ales Holecek

Alex Holecek is Corporate Vice President, Engineering, Office Experience Group, which he leads with Joe Belfiore, who runs product for the team. Alex leads the engineering team delivering the core applications and service that define the Modern Office Experience. Prior to Office, Alex was responsible for the Windows Developer Ecosystem & Platform Team. He was responsible for design and architecture of the universal Windows platform and for the broader Windows Platform. Prior to that, he was a Distinguished Engineer and Director of Development for the Windows Experience for Windows 7. He joined Microsoft in 2004.
