Giri Govindarajulu

Giri Govindarajulu serves as the Director of Cyber Security at Microsoft since October 2021, leading security, technology, assurance, and response initiatives. Prior to this role, Giri held various leadership positions at Cisco from 2000 to November 2021, including Director/CISO for APAC, where responsibilities encompassed global information security operations, access management, and risk management. Giri also directed innovation in the supply chain organization to transition to a digital supply chain and improved communication and collaboration IT efforts. Giri's career began at L&T and Covansys, focusing on ERP implementation and enhancing productivity tools. Giri holds multiple degrees, including a Master of Science in Computer Science.
