Hernan Asorey

Hernán Asorey joined Microsoft in November of 2020 as the Corporate Vice President and Chief Data Officer for Microsoft’s Worldwide Commercial Business division and Commercial Software Engineering organization. Hernán also leads the applied Machine Learning team in engaging with many of the top Microsoft customers around the world and he guides the organization in leading-edge data science initiatives and strategy.

Hernán lives in the Seattle area with his husband, Joan, and their pup, Gala. He has lived in five countries throughout his life, is an architecture and design enthusiast, a master sommelier, loves music, art, travel, and being a lifelong learner.
