Joann Garbin

JoAnn Garbin serves as the Director of Innovation at Microsoft, focusing on sustainable technology and the built environment since December 2019. Prior experience includes roles as Innovation Partner & Advisor at JMG, Chief Innovation Officer at Aircuity, Founder & Knowledge Lead at KnowE, and various leadership positions at Johnson Controls and PWI Energy. JoAnn has a strong background in driving innovation, strategic advisory, and developing technology solutions that align investments with values. JoAnn holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from Villanova University and is currently pursuing a Master of Engineering from Drexel University.
