W. Ming Shao

W. Ming Shao serves as the Senior Executive Vice President and General Counsel at MicroStrategy since December 2014, while also fulfilling the role of Co-Founder and Board Member at Impact Soccer, Inc., where the focus is on utilizing analytics and AI to decode the art and science of soccer. Prior to these roles, W. Ming Shao held various positions at MicroStrategy, including Executive Vice President & General Counsel and Senior Vice President & Deputy General Counsel, starting in February 2000. W. Ming Shao began a legal career as an Associate at Hogan & Hartson LLP from October 1995 to January 2000. Academic credentials include a JD with cum laude honors from Harvard Law School, an A.B. with Distinction in All Subjects from Cornell University, and experience as a Visiting Student in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics at the University of Oxford as a Brettschneider Scholar.
