Jim Staley

Jim Staley is an experienced professional in community relations and planning, currently serving as the Community Relations and Planning Director at Mid Continent Public Library since January 2007. In this role, Jim emphasizes the Library's relevance and accessibility for the community through both physical and virtual branches. Prior to this, Jim worked as a Development Strategist at Unity from October 2002 to December 2006, where the focus was on connecting individuals with opportunities to support various initiatives. Jim's career began as an Account Executive at The Team, from June 2000 to September 2002, collaborating with clients on creative marketing campaigns. Jim holds a Master of Public Administration in Non-profit Management from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Drury University.
