Richard H. Burns

Richard H. Burns is an experienced Systems Administrator with a strong background in managing virtual and physical server environments. Currently serving at Mid-Continent Public Library since February 2019, Richard specializes in VMWare 8 and Linux servers, as well as Citrix VDA and Netscaler management. Richard has previously held various positions, including Systems Administrator at William Jewell College from April 2023 to December 2023 and from August 2010 to February 2019, focusing on a range of server technologies and Exchange management. Additional experience includes roles as a Systems Support Specialist, Elementary Technology Manager, Technology Intern, and Technical Support Specialist across educational institutions. Richard holds a BA in Information Technology from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and an AS in Information Technology from Missouri Southern State University.
