Gregory Leong

Gregory Leong is currently the Chair at MID-PACIFIC INSTITUTE. Prior to this, they were with Kingfisher Mobile Limited, TruTag Technologies, and IFC - International Finance Corporation, where they served as the Principal Investment Officer. Gregory was responsible for sourcing and executing private equity and credit investments in Asia, focusing on SE Asia, Greater China, and the Pacific.

Before IFC - International Finance Corporation, Leong was with The Blackstone Group as a Managing Director. There, they were responsible for sourcing and executing private equity investments in Greater China and SE Asia, as well as cross-border/outbound opportunities. Gregory assisted with fundraising for global & RMB funds and managed relationships with Asian LPs.

Leong began their career as an Associate at JPMorgan Chase.

Gregory has a proven track record in private equity and investments, and has played an integral role in the development of equity platforms and teams across Asia.

Gregory Leong holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, a MIPP from the Johns Hopkins University - Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), and a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from The George Washington University. Gregory also attended Mandarin Training Center at National Taiwan Normal University and Georgetown Prep.
