Steven Chisholm P.e. (Cody)

Steven "Cody" Chisholm, P.E. has a diverse work experience in the engineering field. Steven "Cody" currently holds the position of Director of Operations at Mid-South Engineering since March 2023. In this role, they are responsible for talent acquisition, growth, and day-to-day operations of the Rogers AR office. Steven "Cody"'smain focus is to optimize the organization's operations within the structural engineering department by implementing strategies, policies, and procedures.

Prior to their current role, Cody worked at Mid-South Engineering as a Structural Engineer from March 2021 to April 2023. Steven "Cody" specialized in executing designs for various projects, including retrofits/modifications and new construction, primarily in industrial process facilities related to wood products. Steven "Cody"'sexpertise lies in designing reinforced concrete and steel structures, particularly equipment support structures and foundations, as well as pre-engineered building foundations.

Before joining Mid-South Engineering, Cody worked at Georgia-Pacific LLC. Steven "Cody" held the position of Project Engineer from August 2019 to March 2021, where they successfully executed capital projects using the Phased Deliverable Matrix. Steven "Cody"'sresponsibilities included creating scopes, contract requisitions, initial Bill of Materials (BOMs), and other important documents needed for project implementation. Steven "Cody" also planned and assigned schedules efficiently to optimize the project outcomes and value.

Prior to their role as a Project Engineer, Cody had another stint at Georgia-Pacific LLC as a Project Engineering Intern from May 2016 to August 2016. In this position, they led small capital projects through various phases and assisted in Root Cause Analyses (RCA) for water pumps and wastewater clarifier sludge removal.

Cody's early work experience includes a role at the University of Arkansas as a ResNet Internet Technician from August 2013 to December 2016. In this role, they worked with the residential networking team to troubleshoot and resolve networking issues for on-campus students.

In addition to their formal education, Chisholm has also obtained various certifications to further enhance their professional qualifications. In June 2018, they received the Certified Engineering Intern designation from the Arkansas State Board of Licensure for Professional Engineers and Surveyors. Steven "Cody" further expanded their expertise by obtaining the ACI Concrete Technician Certification from the American Concrete Institute in April 2015.

Most recently, in October 2021, Chisholm achieved the highly esteemed Professional Engineer (P.E.) license from the State Board of Licensure.
