Edgar Mendoza

Edgar Mendoza is a Mechanical Design Engineer with extensive experience in product design, engineering analysis, and project management. Currently employed at Mid South Automation since November 2017, Edgar previously held positions as a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer and Mechanical Design Engineer at Calvek Automation, where responsibilities included applying design and Finite Element Analysis to create mechanical concepts and designs. Additionally, experience includes serving as a Product Design Engineer/Program Manager at Faber Range Hoods North America, focusing on compliance with UL, NOM, and CSA standards. Edgar began a career in quality assurance as a Quality Supervisor at Remy International. Educational credentials include a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Centro de Investigación y Estudios de Posgrado, UASLP, and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universidad Autónoma de San Luis Potosí.
