Daniel Sprague has a diverse work experience in the medical field. Daniel started their career in 1995 as a Teacher in the Peace Corps. Daniel then worked as a Resident Physician at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics from 2009 to 2012. After that, they worked as a Physician at Emergency Physician Associates from 2011 to 2012. In 2012, Daniel joined Samaritan Health Services as an Emergency Physician and later became the Medical Director in 2014. In 2014, they also worked as an Independent Contractor for Weatherby Healthcare, covering shifts in the Emergency Department. Currently, Daniel serves as the EMS Medical Director for multiple fire districts, including Jefferson Rural Fire District, Scio Rural Fire District, Lebanon Fire District, Sweet Home Fire District, and Brownsville Rural Fire District.
Daniel Sprague completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biological Sciences at Ohio University from 1991 to 1995. Daniel then pursued an MD/PhD in the Medical Scientist Training Program at the University of Iowa Roy J. and Lucille A. Carver College of Medicine from 2001 to 2009.
