Sean Rooney

Sean Rooney is a Tax Compliance Specialist with extensive experience in tax compliance and accounting. Currently employed at MidAmerican Energy Company since December 2016, Rooney has held various titles including Senior Tax Accountant and Tax Accountant within the BHE Consolidated division. Prior to this role, Rooney worked at Deloitte in both tax and audit capacities from August 2012 to December 2016, and gained initial experience as a Staff Accountant at Gronewold, Bell, Kyhnn & CO. P.C. from July 2010 to August 2012. Rooney also completed a Tax Internship at Clifton Gunderson, LLP in early 2009. Rooney holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from the University of Northern Iowa, earned from 2006 to 2010.
