At Shahid, Alexandra leads the Financial Planning & Analysis function, playing a pivotal role in driving strategic finance during a transformative phase of the company’s growth. Alexandra works hand in hand with business leaders, corporate strategy, and top management, ensuring that finance is fully aligned with the company’s vision and strategic directions. Beyond reporting, Alexandra integrates outlook with corporate priorities, delivers board-level insights that guide transformative decisions, and architects multi-year business plans to secure a 5–10 year growth trajectory. By strengthening P&L governance and implementing disciplined review cycles, Alexandra has optimized resources, improved transparency, and delivered financial insights to guide strategic decisions. Adept at leading cross-functional, multicultural teams, Alexandra is also responsible for building Shahid’s current high-performing FP&A team.

Before joining Shahid, Alexandra built a career spanning more than 15 years across global multinationals and high-growth digital businesses, with a consistent focus on strategic finance, transformation, and cross-border expansion. At Tencent/iflix (Asia & MENA), Alexandra was instrumental in scaling operations across emerging markets, overseeing financial strategy and commercial partnerships that supported digital media expansion.

Earlier at Timwe, Alexandra managed regional finance operations across multicultural markets, including Latin America, APAC, and MENA, supporting expansion in these regions through innovative and digital business solutions that reinforced growth and performance.

Alexandra’s foundation at Unilever provided exposure to world-class financial management practices across categories and regions. There, Alexandra honed expertise in P&L oversight, market strategy alignment, and business partnering with marketing, supply chain, and commercial leaders. This experience instilled a deep understanding of how to connect finance with brand growth and consumer-driven strategies.

Recently, Alexandra serves as a mentor and thought leader on the Abu Dhabi SME Hub platform, where she provides strategic guidance in the areas of finance and leadership.

Across these roles, Alexandra has consistently positioned herself at the intersection of finance, business, and strategy, supporting C-level leadership teams in navigating transformation, improving performance, and unlocking long-term value creation.

Alexandra’s academic background reinforces her global and strategic mindset. She holds a Global Executive MBA from INSEAD, which exposed her to diverse perspectives and business practices across continents. She also earned a Postgraduate degree in Auditing from ISCTE Business School and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Financial Control from ISCAL, grounding her work in analytical rigor and technical excellence.
