Hussein Takch

Hussein Takch has a diverse work experience in various roles within the field of project management and IT. Hussein is currently working as the Business Transformation & PMO Manager - Corporate Planning and Management at the Middle East Broadcasting Center. In this role, they oversee a large portfolio of strategic projects and business transformation initiatives, and has successfully rebuilt and updated the project management structure and the PPM system, resulting in a 40% increase in efficiency.

Prior to this, Hussein worked as a Project Manager at Sharjah eGovernment, where they successfully delivered several concurrent software engineering, digital transformation, and GIS projects. Prior to this, Hussein worked as a Project Engineer at Al Kuhaimi, where they designed IT solutions and led buildouts for IT assets and machinery control software.

Hussein's earlier work experience includes working as a Corporate Support Engineer at NOCC (Network Operations & Consultancy Center), where they provided corporate support for various clients, including software development, hardware upgrade, data migration, and IT architecture/security. Hussein also worked as an IT Supervisor at GDNE and as an Intern at Virtual ISP, where they provided customer support and handled network installation and troubleshooting.

Hussein Takch completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer and Communications Engineering from the American University of Science and Technology, where they studied from 2008 to 2012. Additionally, they obtained various certifications throughout their career, including becoming a Certified Metaverse Expert from the Blockchain Council in May 2022. In April 2020, they achieved the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Solutions Architect Associate certification, as well as the Professional Scrum Product Owner certification from Scrum.org. In March 2020, Hussein Takch obtained the Google Analytics Individual Qualification (GAIQ) certification and in March 2018, they became an Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) through the Project Management Institute. Furthermore, they received the Inbound Certified certification from HubSpot Academy in April 2017 and the Big Data for Smart Cities certification from IEEE in July 2016. Finally, in November 2015, they achieved the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.
