Middle East Forum
Asaf Romirowsky serves as the Executive Director of Scholars for Peace in the Middle East (SPME) and the Association for the Study of the Middle East and Africa (ASMEA), positions held since December 2011 and January 2021, respectively. Additionally, Romirowsky is a Non-Resident Senior Fellow at the Begin-Sadat Center for Strategic Studies (BESA) at Bar-Ilan University and a Fellow at the Middle East Forum, with experience as a Lecturer at Gratz College and previously at Drexel University and Penn State University. Past roles include Adjunct Scholar at the Foundation for Defense for Democracies (FDD) and Manager of Israel & Middle East Affairs at the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia. Romirowsky holds a PhD in Middle Eastern Studies from King's College London, an MA in Middle East Studies/International Relations from Villanova University, and a BA from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
