Dr. Carole Nakhle is an accomplished energy economist and Chief Executive Officer of Crystol Energy since October 2012. Nakhle serves on the Governing Board and the Audit and Finance Committee of the Natural Resource Governance Institute, as well as on the Advisory Council of the Middle East Institute. Nakhle is recognized as an Energy Expert at Geopolitical Intelligence Service, and holds visiting lecturer positions at both the Blavatnik School of Government, University of Oxford, and Université Saint-Joseph de Beyrouth. Nakhle has contributed as an Advisory Board Member at the Payne Institute, and as an Associate Lecturer and Research Fellow at the Surrey Energy Economics Centre. Nakhle's experience extends to serving as an External Expert for the IMF's Fiscal Affairs Department and recently as a Committee Member for Green Hydrogen at COP28 UAE. Nakhle earned a PhD in Energy Economics, an MPhil in Energy Economics, and an MSc in Financial Services Management from the University of Surrey, along with a BSc in Economics from Saint Joseph University of Beirut.
