Patrick Pinschmidt

Patrick Pinschmidt is a General Partner at MiddleGame Ventures. Patrick has also served as the Deputy Assistant Secretary at the U.S. Department of the Treasury and the first Executive Director of the Financial Stability Oversight Council. In this role, they were tasked with standing up the post-financial crisis entity for regulatory coordination and managed the Council’s activities spanning 15 agencies across the U.S. financial regulatory system. Prior to this, Pinschmidt served as a Financial Markets Policy Advisor to the Congressional Oversight Panel, an independent oversight panel established by the U.S. Congress to review and make recommendations regarding the state of the markets, current regulatory system, and the management of the Troubled Asset Relief Program (TARP). Patrick has also held positions as Vice President of U.S. Equity Research at both Morgan Stanley and Merrill Lynch.

Patrick Pinschmidt started their educational career by earning a BS in the School of Foreign Service (Theirtory & Diplomacy) from Georgetown University. Patrick then went on to earn an MBA from Columbia Business School.
