Caitlin Boyle

Caitlin Boyle is a seasoned professional in the film industry, currently serving as the Executive Director of Middlebury New Filmmakers Festival, starting September 2024. With extensive experience as a Film Distribution & Impact Consultant since 2007, Caitlin has previously directed filmmaker support programs and educational initiatives at DOC NYC, the largest documentary film festival in the United States. Caitlin’s consultancy roles have included overseeing impact strategies at Together Films and developing media training programs for independent filmmakers at Auburn Theological Seminary. As the founder and Executive Director of Film Sprout from 2009 to 2019, Caitlin specialized in expanding documentary film viewership through curated screening tours. Caitlin's early career includes production support at The WNET Group and reporting for WFUV Public Radio. Caitlin holds a Bachelor's degree in History from Columbia University and a Master's in Journalism from Indiana University.
