Bernadette M. Sohler

Bernadette M. Sohler is the Vice President of Corporate Affairs at Middlesex Water. Bernadette has over 25 years of experience in marketing and communications, with a focus on financial communications, executive speechwriting, and change management.

Sohler began their career in 1984 as an account executive at Wimmershoff & Associates. Bernadette then moved to Keyes Martin Advertising & Public Relations, where they served as an account executive for four years. In 1990, they joined The MONY Group as a Senior Marketing Communications Manager, and then moved to Home Life Insurance Company in 1991 as the Public Relations Manager.

In 1993, Sohler founded their own marketing communications firm, Sohler & Ryerson Communications. The firm provided copywriting, sales, and collateral support to clients. Bernadette ran the firm for one year before joining Middlesex Water as the Vice President of Corporate Affairs.

Sohler has been with Middlesex Water for over 20 years. In their role, they are responsible for all aspects of the company’s communications, including media relations, employee communications, investor relations, and government affairs.
