Alex Lutz has a diverse work experience in various engineering roles. Alex started their career as an Engineering Intern at Elliott Company in 2007, where they assisted in the manufacturing of environmental and industrial machinery. Alex then worked as an Engineering Intern at NASA Langley Research Center in 2008, where they worked in the electronic systems branch and gained experience in unmanned aerial vehicles.

Later, Alex worked at Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) as a Control Systems Integration Engineer from 2008 to 2011. Alex then joined Westinghouse Electric Company as a Control Systems Engineer, where they developed safety control systems for nuclear power plants. Alex also worked as a Functional Design Engineer and Test Engineer during their time at Westinghouse.

In 2016, Alex joined Equipment & Controls, Inc. as a Control Systems & Integration Engineer, where they developed control strategies for industrial facilities and data centers. Alex worked on both controls and building automation systems.
