Wendy Kane

Wendy Kane is a seasoned higher education professional with extensive experience in student life administration. Currently serving as the Dean of Student Life and Pathways Academic Advisor at Midland College since March 2018, Wendy has previously held significant roles including Assistant Dean of Students/Director of Student Life at the University of Texas of the Permian Basin, where responsibilities included overseeing student engagement initiatives. Wendy's earlier experience includes positions at Clarkson University, where oversight of the Student Center was a key focus, and the University of Texas at El Paso, managing various student development areas. Wendy began a career in education after earning a Master of Arts in Higher Education Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in Interpersonal Communications and Women's Studies from Western Michigan University.
