Midland Institute for Entrepreneurship
Donnie Wilson currently serves as the Interim Executive Director at the Midland Institute for Entrepreneurship since May 2025. Previously, Donnie held the position of Director of Sales and Marketing at Elastec from November 2021 to June 2023. Donnie's extensive experience includes serving as President of the Midland Institute for Entrepreneurship from December 2016 to May 2020 and as CEO of Elastec from May 1990 to September 2015. As the founder and CEO of Elastec/American Marine, Donnie established one of the largest manufacturers of pollution control products globally, with a focus on designing and producing oil spill products for over 20 years, exporting equipment to more than 100 countries.
