Melanie Brown

Melanie Brown has extensive experience in health, wellness, and entrepreneurship. Currently serving as the Facilitator of the Central Illinois CEO program at Midland Institute for Entrepreneurship since August 2019, Melanie contributes to communities such as Warrensburg-Latham, Maroa-Forsyth, Clinton, and Blue Ridge. As a Health and Wellness Coach at Motivated by More since January 2016, Melanie supports individuals in achieving health goals. Previously, Melanie held roles including Senior Development Officer at Decatur Memorial Hospital, where responsibilities encompassed philanthropic activities and community relations, and Primary Healthcare Representative at Pfizer Pharmaceuticals, managing a significant territory. Earlier experience includes serving as Health & Wellness Director at Decatur Family YMCA, focusing on health programming and partnerships. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Physical Education from Eastern Illinois University and a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education from the same institution, along with an Associate in Arts from Richland Community College.
