Nic Barrera

Nic Barrera has extensive work experience in the newspaper industry. Nic started their career in 2000 as a Customer Service Representative at The Valley Morning Star, where they handled complaints, classified ads, and billing. Nic then became an Automotive Marketing Consultant, responsible for developing client relationships and increasing revenue. Nic later became the Retail Advertising Sales Manager at The Valley Morning Star, where they set revenue goals, calculated commissions, and worked closely with the production department.

Nic also worked as the Retail Advertising Sales Manager at The Gaston Gazette, where they spearheaded internet sales and increased online revenue. Nic then joined Freedom Communications as the Regional Sales and Marketing Development Manager, responsible for revenue production and training new account executives.
