Douglas Tucker has a diverse work experience spanning over several prominent companies. Douglas began their career in 1993 as an Associate Attorney in the Financial Services Group at Barack Ferrazzano Kirschbaum & Nagelberg LLP. In 1999, they founded Xentex Technologies and served as its President until 2001. Tucker then joined Quarles & Brady LLP in 2004, where they held various roles including Partner, Senior Partner, and Managing Partner of the Shanghai Office. Douglas specialized in securities, M&A, corporate governance, and corporate finance. In the same year, they also became an Adjunct Professor at Chicago Kent College of Law. In 2010, Tucker transitioned to Midland States Bancorp, Inc. as the Senior Vice President and Corporate Counsel, overseeing the bank holding company's legal matters and its $6 billion in assets. Additionally, they held the same position at Midland States Bank. Overall, Tucker has demonstrated extensive expertise in the financial services industry and has contributed to the growth and success of multiple organizations.
Douglas Tucker attended Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law from 1990 to 1993. Prior to that, they studied at Michigan State University - James Madison College from 1987 to 1990 and earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Foreign Policy/International Relations.
