Jennifer Whiteman has over 20 years of work experience in the banking industry. Jennifer began their career at Alpine Bank Illinois in 1996 as a Credit Manager, and eventually served as the Chief Credit Officer and Financial Controller. During their time at Alpine Bank Illinois, Jennifer was responsible for managing the finance and accounting team, overseeing interest rate risk management, financial and regulatory reporting, budget creation and oversight, and general ledger core conversion and bank charter collapse. In 2018, Jennifer joined Midland States Bank as the Director of Credit Administration.
Jennifer Whiteman attended Beloit College from 1988 to 1992, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. Jennifer then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Rockford University, completing it in 2000. Jennifer also participated in the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin - Madison from 2004 to 2007. In 2017, they attended Kellogg Executive Education, though no specific degree or field of study was specified.
