Lawrence Smith is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in transportation and logistics management. Currently serving as the Carrier Relation Manager USA at Midland Transport since January 2021, Lawrence specializes in establishing and nurturing business relationships within Midland Logistics’ Core Carrier Network, optimizing partnerships through KPI utilization, and managing contract negotiations with Corporate Procurement. Prior to this role, Lawrence held various positions at Irving Consumer Products, including Freight Sourcing Buyer, NA Sr Transportation Planner, and Transportation Planner, and contributed to operations at Irving Tissue in Material Flow. Lawrence holds a Bachelor's of Science degree in Operations Management from Southern New Hampshire University.
