Tammy Kuykendall

Tammy Kuykendall currently serves as the Executive Director of Communications for Midlothian Independent School District since July 2023. Prior to this role, Tammy held various positions in communications, including Interim Director of Communications at Highland Park ISD and Communication/PR Marketing Strategist at edVantage Strategy Group. Tammy also served as Interim Director of Communication at Sherman Independent School District and Executive Director of Communications at Dallas ISD. Earlier experience includes roles as Chief Communications Officer at Duncanville ISD, Marketing Director for the City of Duncanville, Public Relations Specialist for the City of Lancaster, and President of the Lancaster Chamber of Commerce. Tammy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Education with an emphasis in Marketing from Oklahoma State University, earned between 1989 and 1994.
