Amanda Holmes

Amanda Holmes is an experienced veterinary professional currently serving as a Veterinary Technician at Midwest Animal Hospital since June 2021, having previously worked there as a Veterinary Assistant and also in various roles including Shift Leader Kennel Attendant and Kennel Attendant. Experience includes internships at Shirkey Veterinary Clinic and Dwight Veterinary Clinic, along with summer help at Handicapped Development Center. Prior to this, Amanda gained customer service experience as a Waitress at Whistle Stop Cafe and fulfilled roles related to intramural sports at Augustana College. Amanda is pursuing a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, following a Master's degree in Veterinary Biomedical Science from Kansas State University and a Bachelor's degree in Biology and Neuroscience from Augustana College.
